Proposed purpose: To cool the carb and provide a clean mounting location for other
components.

Photographs by: Todd

It started as a project to cleanly mount the Carburetor and Nitrous on an even plane
and conveniently locate all the components in some sort of high tech fashion. Since
it was assumed that the plate would cool the carburetor to some extent the engineering
was focused mainly on looks and easy cleaning. As you will be able to see by the final
outcome, all the requirements were finally met. Though serious doubt did cross our minds
at several points of the manufacturing process, we did overcome each obstacle one by
one. Was it worth it ? You tell us… We can say this much… After only one cruise night
out, the crowd that gathered around to admire the end product made it all worth it.
